Geeks OUT Presents: DRAW!
Come sketch some spandex-clad super heroes with comics industry superstar Phil Jimenez (Astonishing X-Men, Legion of Super Heroes, Otherworld) at the LGBT Center in NYC!
DRAW will be an intesive but fun-filled figure-drawing event. All ages and skill-levels are welcome.
Proceeds go to support Geeks OUT, a queer social group out to raise the visibility of LGBT awesomeness within comics culture and get queer geeks mixing it up (OFF the internet)!
WHAT TO BRING:
- Imagination
- A Sense of Humor
- Art Supplies! Make sure to bring a pad of large drawing paper, pencils, charcoal, pens, ink, brushes, or whatever else you'd like to draw with. A drawing board, or some other hard surface would be a good idea too. The Center is providing tables and chairs, but not easels. Geeks OUT will have a limited amount of art supplies available at the event for you to purchase if you run out. We'll have some snacks too. :)
Also: It's going to be super queer!
